The engine provides 188 horsepower and 129 pound-feet of torque, and it gets 43 mpg in traffic and 41 mpg on the open road. The plug-in hybrid has the same motor and a larger battery, so it can go 26 miles with only electric power. Gas, electric, and combination driving modes are available.
