2019 Lincoln MKZ | Billy Howell Ford LincolnThe MKZ is Lincoln’s midsize luxury sedan. It has a distinctively American twist on a luxury vehicle with a powerful engine and high-tech features to keep pace with other luxury brands. The 2019 model has just a few updates including more standard features on all the trims, and for the new model year, the V-6 turbo engine is now available on the Reserve II trim. Here is why you can go luxe with a 2019 Lincoln MKZ.

The Trim Levels

Lincoln offers its buyers three different trim levels so you can get exactly what you need. The base MKZ starts things off with 18-inch wheels, adaptive xenon headlights, and heated side mirrors. Take a step up to the Reserve I for power-folding mirrors, a power trunk lid, and some extra technology in the cabin. The top-level Reserve II comes standard with all the features of the two lower-level trims, adds 19-inch wheels, and the option for the Luxury Package. This package adds a retractable panoramic sunroof and LED headlights.

The Power

There are three different powertrains to choose from with the MKZ. The bae is a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder gas engine that gets 245 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. It comes with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, with the option for all-wheel drive. Lincoln also offers the MKZ with a hybrid powertrain that uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine along with an electric motor for a total of 188 horsepower. The Reserve II model comes with the third available powertrain. This engine is a 3.0-liter V-6 with 350 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque.

The Technology

All the MKZ models come well-equipped with the latest technology. An 8-inch touchscreen display comes standard along with the Sync3 infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Satellite radio is a standard feature, and you also get two USB ports. The Reserve I adds a 110-volt power outlet, and two USB ports in the back for charging devices, and the Reserve II adds a 14-speaker Revel stereo with HD radio. The Reserve II bumps up the audio system again with the option for a 20-speaker Revel Ultima stereo.

The Interior Luxury

The base MKZ comes with simulated leather seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and driver-seat memory settings. The Reserve I adds leather upholstery, upgraded ambient lighting, and a power-adjustable steering wheel. For even more luxury the Reserve II adds ventilated and massaging front seats, a power rear window sunshade, and the option for heated rear seats and a heated steering wheel.

The Safety Features

All the MKZ models come standard with a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, and the Co-Pilot360 suite of advanced driver assistance features. This includes blind-spot monitoring, automatic high beams, lane keep assist, and a front collision warning system with automatic emergency braking. Bump up to the Reserve I for adaptive cruise control.

The 2019 Lincoln MKZ offers its passengers the ultimate in luxury with premium materials, high-end technology, and the latest safety equipment.
